Random things about me (hobbies, occupation, tennis history, favorite band, etc.):
I have tons of energy, and once loosened up, could go all day (and have in the past). Essentially, if I didn't have to work, I'd play tennis all day long! Anyway, I've played for about 3 years, and mostly self-taught after the initial introduction to the game. Lately, I've been taking lessons as I'd eventually like to compete in tournament play. I can cover the court pretty well and am starting to dig volleys a lot. My serve is pretty good, though my coach wants me to use a different grip, and I'm somewhat back to ground zero on that. I have a pretty mean backhand, enjoy aggressive play, and essentially want a good sweat during the game.
My tennis skill (please check your NTRP if you know it):
Not bad, Getting there, Not bad., I'm getting there., Don't know my what my rating is., If tennis is on TV - I'm watching.
I play at Green Lake and Amy Yee (when it rains), and like to have more playing partners. Let me know if you like to hit some singles. And yes, I like to hit with those who work out a good sweat!
Hi! Welcome to the "community-based" tennis social network which connects tennis players, fans, coaches, and you. We created this place in December and it has been a wild ride ever since - we've gone viral and now we're "almost famous".
To get started, pleaseupload a photo or avatar for yourself (if you haven’t already.) Whether it's of you, your dog, or your racquet it doesn't matter, but it helps people remember you. You can also personalize Your Page with pictures, links, RSS feeds, colors and more here.
Thanks to everyone inviting their friends, we now have over 12,000 members and we're growing by 90 new members a day. Invite yours too!
