Congrats on making it to Nationals Joe!!! We have a great competitive group coming out of Baytrees and we all push ourselves to be the best and have fun while we're at it! I'm proud to be part of this group. Congrats!!!
Hi Allie,
I work in San Ramon and play out of Concord. I can hit with you many Tuesday evenings. Let me know if we can arrange some time to play.

I play primarily doubles. Have been playing in USTA Leagues since 2004. I have a regular mixed doubles partner. We are always looking to play other couples. But due to her work schedule, she cannot always play on weekends or in tournaments.
Joe,
You left me a message last November! Sorry, haven't been on the site lately. I know the time is long past, but 8.0 mixed would have been tough for me, I am a 3.5 so I would have to play with a 4.5 player. Or be the weak link! Thanks for asking anyway. I play 7.0 mixed and that's tough enough! Maybe I will get better.
hi joe, how are you? im sorry i didnt get back to you after you had asked for some help. i havent been getting notices that there are comments left for me, so i assumed there was no activity going on. did you ever get some help with your volley? hitting right back to the opponent is very common. with some drills you should be able to find openings, sharp angles or even hit at the player nearest the net. let me know when you have an hour to come out to san ramon. i'll give you a free lesson... dudley
Good Morning. My workload is heavy before I go on vacation, so I probably will not make Sunday. After that, I'm gone for 2 weeks, returning on Nov. 6. Mixed doubles sounds great. I should be able to find a 4th. I'll touchbase when I get back.
Hi Joe! Nice to meet you as well. What is the Resnick Tournament? Is that a part of MTA? I'm not really in the loop with tournament play. Haven't played competitively in 25 years. Just getting back in the groove with my game.
I agree with you about those clubs. First of all, I can't afford them, and secondly, like you, I dont like those club members either. There is an arrogance about them.
hi joe, just read your message. yeah playing as a guest at private clubs is nice. i could afford it but i dont like the way club members act. id rather meet people at the public park and make guine friends. ive seen your tennis profile and you seem to have a nice connection with players. maybe you can recruit them to our group. looking forward to meeting you.
hey joe. i see you joined my group. thanks. i met a few offline tonight at emerald glen. im hoping to grow the group into a regular tennis drop in at a central location. let me know if this is something you might be interested in since i read your profile and see you might be a member of both local club sports. dudley
