Random things about me (hobbies, occupation, tennis history, favorite band, etc.):: I played Div. 1 college tennis and looking for maybe challenge ladder type competitions in the PDX area. Right now I work full time at Sylvan Learning Center so the weekends are best for me. I am 30 years old and recently moved to Portland from Atlanta, Georgia. Where the heck is the sun???

Favorite pro tennis player(s):: Steffi Graf, not Roger Federer, and def. Pete Sampras.

My tennis skill (please check your NTRP if you know it):: Pretty damn good., NTRP 5.0

Weekends are good for me. If you want to play singles or doubles or just hit balls at each other to practice let me know, I live close in SE in the Hawthorne area. On the eastside the Portland Tennis Center is a great place to play all year round. Good mixers and cheap lessons. By the way this weekend is the Nike Oregon Tennis Championship at Tualatin Hill Recreation Center. The finals are this Sunday morning. Top level college players and teaching pros enter from Canada and the northwest. You can watch for free in close in seats in a new outside tennis arena.
