Random things about me (hobbies, occupation, tennis history, favorite band, etc.):
As far as athletics, I have done just about everything from bmx freestyle to figure skating. The past few years I've done track and field at U of O and PSU, as well as professional lumberjack sports. I usually get addicted to whatever I'm into and right now it is tennis. I would like to be playing tennis about 3-4 times a week, but don't have many tennis playing friends in Portland. I'd would really like to find some people (any age, gender) around the same skill level (or better) to play with. If anyone wants to get together and play, please let me know.
Favorite pro tennis player(s):
Henin, Blake, Nadal... I don't really have a favorite pro, I just like watching a good tennis match.
My tennis skill (please check your NTRP if you know it):
so my friend is unavailable today but we can probably make it work in a week or so. i was wondering if you'd want to try and play at the reed college courts today. i don't think it's much farther for you and it's close enough for me to bike. let me know.
good to have you back. we should definitely get together and play. coincidentally a friend of mine who plays recently moved to town so doubles should work perfectly. my knee has been giving me a little trouble lately but give me a call when your back is better and i should be good to go.
Hi Brian, I see you dig myspace... was hoping you would "friend us" on myspace. Here's our page: http://www.myspace.com/tennisopolis
And here's some cool Tennisopolis badges for your myspace page if you please.
Have a good one!
brian, i would love to get out and hit now that the weather is getting nicer. what is your schedule like? where do you live? i live in SE and i work in the middle of the night (i'm a baker) so i have every single day of the week open! i get off work at 10am and can play any time after that. i've only played once so far this season about a week ago so i'd love to get out and just smack around a little. let me know. 646 823 3566.
Brian, thanks for connecting with me. how's this weekend look for you? sunday forecast looks rain-free and i've got nothing to do. pretty much anytime works for me. i live close to laurelhurst park so either there or anywhere within biking distance of there is cool. let me know.
