- Hello everyone. I just moved to the San Diego area over the last couple of weeks and am looking to get some tennis under my belt while I'm in the area. I just finished my BA in mathematics with a minor in computer science and have been pretty busy lately trying to find a decent job. In the meantime I'll be at your door delivering pizzas for Pizza Hut while I continue on looking for something somewhat more promising than "pizza pizza".
Anyway, when I'm not bringing fresh delicious pizza to your door step, I'd like to get back into tennis. I've played competitively my whole life since I was 8 years old. I've taught tennis a few times as part time gigs during the summer or during college to make a few bucks on the side. During the summer of 2002 I taught for Yarmouth Recreation and just this last spring 2007 I was an instructor at Gardiner's Resort in Carmel Valley, CA.
I haven't been formally ranked by a certified professional but from the experience I have and the knowledge I have of the game, I'm most likely a 4.5 player. If you want to hit, please give me a call. Very friendly, personable, patient guy that loves the game and is willing to give lessons upon request.
That's pretty much it from me for now. If you've actually gotten this far in my little blog here, thank you for your attention and give me a call if you want a somewhat competitive match or are interested in picking up a few pointers from a guy that has a thing or two to say about the game. You wanna hit sometime?? I have a flexible schedule and would like to start playing multiple times per week. I live in PB....but like to play up at the UCSD campus too.
We already have a few SD area Groups, join in one or all of those and introduce yourself in there to meet people in your area.
