Random things about me (hobbies, occupation, tennis history, favorite band, etc.):
I started playing tennis 1 1/2 years ago. My skills are slowly improving but still consider myself a beginnger. I'd like to find someone patient and close to my level to hit the ball back and forth with.

I haven't played for about a year due to a motorcycle accident. Now that I am better I am eager to get out on the court. If you would like to volley, serve & volley, or just hit the ball back & forth just let me know. I live near USF.
I live in Orlando, but I travel to Tampa (actually, Tarpon Springs area) often to visit family. I'll be in Tampa on Sunday (8/31) and Monday (9/1) if you are looking for someone to play with. I'm just starting to play after not picking up a racket in years, but I can get a decent volley going. Let me know.
That might be fun. I'm not very good, either. :) I played on my H.S. team for a couple of years, but in the past few years I rarely hit the ball. Whereabouts in Tampa would you want to play? I'm a USF staff member, so I use the courts there. Not that anyone checks.
Hi David! It's great to have you here!
I see you already joined a Group – fantastic - introduce yourself in there to meet people for matches.
If you need any help, let me know. Invite your buddies.
We are all very excited to have created this "community-based" tennis website which puts the focus on the members.
To get started, pleaseupload a photo or avatar for yourself (if you haven’t already.) Whether it's of you, your dog, your racquet it doesn't matter, but it helps people remember you. You can also personalize Your Page with pictures, links, RSS feeds, colors and more here.
If you are looking to meet people for tennis matches, Join the group in your area and introduce yourself in there. Some groups have regular meeting times and some are more one-on-one and flexible. If there’s no group in your area yet, start a group page for your town and invite your tennis contacts. It's a good place to keep in touch with everyone in your circle.
Tennisopolis is also a great place to network with people all across the country and talk about this game we love.
