Random things about me (hobbies, occupation, tennis history, favorite band, etc.):
I am a transplanted New York lawyer, living and working in Gulfport full time now. My days are more free than in years past. I would like to hit with players close to my ability (3.5).
Favorite pro tennis player(s):
Roger Federer
My tennis skill (please check your NTRP if you know it):
I am 57. I have played for a long time. I am a rated 3.5 player. I like to hit or play sets. My goal is to get better and keep playing. I'm a reasonably bright and conversant guy. Wanna play?
Hey Bruce,
My husband and I are new to the area from NJ. Both were teaching pros in NJ and are trying to start up here. If you are interested in a drill and play on Wednesday mornings at the Pasadena church courts (off 66th Pasadena Ave) 10 min from Gulfport. 9am to 10:30am for $15.
There is a group that gathers every other day or so in the morning 9:30 - 10:30 at Lake Vista Park 1201 62nd Ave. S. which isn't too far from you. There are also quite as few regulars in the evening. I'm play singles there a couple of times a week. Also check this out.
Hey Bruce,
Hope your well. Met Barry, 727 865 2460 who is part of an early am 3.5 + = doubles group near the beach looking for players. Thought you might like to know.
I am a 3.5 player living in Gulfport, Florida. My days as a lawyer are more free than when I practiced law in New York. If there are men and/or women in the St. Petersburg area who want to hit with me, that would be great. Thanks..Bruce
