Random things about me (hobbies, occupation, tennis history, favorite band, etc.):
I LOVE tennis!! I've been playing tennis for about 15 years now.. borderline 4.5 player (sandbagging a little at 4.0).. Team Captain for many teams through the years.. Currently captain an 8.5 mixed doubles team in Houston. Have recently returned to sanctioned tournament play!!!
Look at that - Mark asked if we were sisters......see you are totally cute!!!! :)
You are the superstar I thought you were with the update that I just read! #1 indeed! When are you guys playing the final? That is so awesome!
My weekend was okay; went to a comedy show and Jimmy Fallon randomly showed up and did a short show. So I got to meet him which was really cool. Otherwise I watched a few movies, worked a bit, and helped a friend paint in her new house!
So.. are you the tennis dude in charge?? Great site.. I think it'll be lots of fun!
I'm a captain by choice.. LOVE IT.. My players are always the ones with the best attitudes and most certainly the best games! We have fun and we socialize.. so expect to see some great photos in the near future!
Hi Beth! It's great to have you here! So you are a team captain - out of necessity or out of desire? :-)
You know that having a Group on Tennisopolis is a great way to manage a team. You can create an invite only group and upload pics of the team and easily make team announcements and group emails.
Ask me if you need help. have a great weekend,
M

We are all very excited to have created this "community-based" tennis website which puts the focus on the members.
To get started, pleaseupload a photo or avatar for yourself (if you haven’t already.) Whether it's of you, your dog, your racquet it doesn't matter, but it helps people remember you. You can also personalize Your Page with pictures, links, RSS feeds, colors and more here.
If you are looking to meet people for tennis matches, Join the group in your area and introduce yourself in there. Some groups have regular meeting times and some are more one-on-one and flexible. If there’s no group in your area yet, start a group page for your town and invite your tennis contacts. It's a good place to keep in touch with everyone in your circle.
Tennisopolis is also a great place to network with people all across the country and talk about this game we love.
Other places to explore: come talk tennis in the forum, add your own photos, post your own blog entries.

Yep, I'm the "Mayor" of Tennisopolis... and very busy now that this site is taking off. No complaints though. :-)
by the way, to comment back use the comment back link below and it will end up on the other persons page and they are more likely to see it. :-)
