Welcome to the "community-based" tennis social network which connects tennis players, fans, coaches, and you. We created this place in December and it has been a wild ride ever since - we've gone viral and now we're "almost famous".
What can you do here?
At Tennisopolis, you can:
- meet other players. Here's a primer on how to find partners.
- join a Group. Members have started over 190 Local Groups (and other types of Groups too.) Search for one in your area, or start your own.
- follow the pros. There are over 500 blog posts on Tennisopolis. Have a good read, or write your own.
- improve your game. Get tips in the Forum and check out video lessons.
- post your own Videos or embed your favorites from youtube.
- add your own Photos.
- and just hang out and connect with great people.

Bernadette said… - Thank you for responding! Here are some more details. The league starts at the end of September. We will start to practice once we have all the girls on the team. We need to know within the next day or two if you are interested as we are trying to see how many more teams we can get signed up!
We play in the evening - around 7:30PM.
We play between Paseo, Arrowhead, and one or two other locations TBA. It will be somewhere in Phoenix, or the East Valley.
Cost:
It is a USTA team, so you have to join the USTA which is $40. The league itself is $25, and then there are court fees to be determined based on the amount of times that you play. The good thing with this is that it is a friendly competition, you play different people, and you have the opportunity to go to Regional and Finals with the USTA.

I had been playing in the Scottsdale leagues for a while and got tired of playing the same people so I joined the USTA. It has been a great experience for me!
