"How's it going, Yogi? I'm 4.0 - 4.5 and always happy to hit or play with new folks. I am particularly interested in the morning option that you mentioned. I work at Kendall and would happily make the trip up to Harvard for an early…"
I'm definitely interested. I'm new to the area and prefer outside, even in the chilly weather. I'm in Cambridge, but depending on the day, I can make it anywhere close to transit. I doubt I'd give you much of a match…"
Not sure if you've had luck finding folks to hit around with, but I'm definitely interested. I could play in the Common or in Cambridge after work (some days) or on weekends, but I don't quite know the ins and outs of the…"
Thanks for your inquiry. It does sound like we'd be a good match. Once the weather turns lets schedule an after work hit at the Riverside courts (across from Trader Joe's). They have lights but i could get there (depending on…"
Sounds like we might be pretty close, both in skill level and location. I'm just a short walk from Riverside Courts and Hoyt Field in Cambridge. MIT also works, but I assume it's not open to non-MITers? I'm interested in…"
"Wow...go Tigers! I'm assuming you have Clemson ties... :-) I'm originally from Charleston, SC and went to CU for grad school.
I'm new to the area - in Cambridge and without a car, but I travel well on public transit. If you're…"
Boston tennis partners, even though we have a 7 month long bitter winter, we still play tennis! We take advantage of the warm months and hit indoors during the cold. Let's come together to share ideas, meet new partners, and complain about the weather.See More
Random things about me (hobbies, occupation, tennis history, favorite band, etc.):
I'm looking to hit or play a match, and I'd really love to find a once-a-week regular doubles group. Many years ago, I could hang at about 5.0, and it won't take me long to be able to hit again at that level. For matches, I'm a 4.0 - 4.5. Available some weeknights, most weekends, and possibly during lunch. I do not have a car, so transit accessibility is much appreciated when choosing where to play. Ideal courts are Hoyt Field or Riverside Press Park in Cambridge.
