if you liked the 61. classic with the 16x19 & not the Euro 18x19, you will love the "Wilson 2012 PS 95 Tennis Racquet" its also a bit lighter.
I have a friend who still plays with those 6.1 Classics. I used to use the 200g England when I was in high school back in 1989. Great feel and hits heavy.
the Prostaff 6.0 85 original 85 classic is the current PS 90, & the Dunlop MAC/Graff 200g England made! not the 300g.
Ah, that makes total sense now that you mention the older racquets I remember BITD. Jack Kramer Pro Staff had marvelous feel, so did the old Prince Graphite 100. I never had the Edberg 6.1 95 but yes, Trysis Radicals and the Max 400i. All great, great feel. So I'll try the PS 95 first from what you've said here.
Talking about the ( Pro Staff ) PS 90, 95, 100....these are classic Beam from the old 6.0 jack Kramer Pro staff line we all know and love. The noticeable differences Between the racquets is weight & sweet spots. IF you are developing junior players you can grow a junior into the 90 when they are 16yo ( or strong enough ),
they can play with the 100 at 10yo or around when they can use a full size racquet. the beam is a bit wider on the 100 & its much lighter but it plays and feels like an old Prince graphite that's just lighter.
Now the PS 95 ALL the other Pros that were there with me on court said that they loved it. Its was light for teaching & the sweet spot felt bigger.....& Softer
Me Im so used to playing with the big mens ***NOTE 1*** racquets that I was more satisfied with the smaller head racquets that give me more control. so IM staying with the 90 the grip is oval like the blx version & again more feel
Now the Edberg 6.1 versions of the 95 are keeping the BLX NAME so its the BLX 95 18x20 or 16x19, Stretch or regulation sized, but the BLX 6.1 Team made the big difference & will be the game changer. they reduced the 18x20 to 16x19 which has taken away the stiffness and has given the racquet amazing feel. This will be the number 1 racquet for juniors next year... Quote me on this! CoachV said so!
( NOTE 1: BIG MEN's Racquets "Try-sis Racdicals, edberg Prostaff 6.1 stretch 1 inch, Yonnex rq-80, Prince Graphite, Dunlop 300g-graff versions, ")
So the Pro Juice is the Pure Drive competitor. It'd better be at least 70 RA. Anything that light needs to be stiff to compensate for loss of power coming from mass. Force=Mass times Acceleration.
yep, and the pro juice with 16x20 and 96 sq in. and 324 is also interesting, I just don't know the ra on then
Boy, that's gonna be really interesting to see which one I like better, the Pro Staff 90 or the 95 head, either Six One or Pro Staff line.
My Prestige Mid is 93 sq in. and at 355 grams strung. I wish my Prestige Mid were 16x19, but Head only makes that in pro stock form. I think the Prestige Pro is too light.
should be in the pdf I sent you a while back
