It is still extreme eastern but when using that grip, can easily slip to semiwestern territory after impact.

He drags the racquet head long enough so that when he pulls the racquet back on the followthrough, it provides force on the ball. Most swings operate the other way, pushing into the ball.

Still can't get my head around how loose his wrist is after contact. I was trying to mimic his follow through and ended up flailing terribly
