the amount it cost to make 1 new prototype is like nothing compared to the over all budget.
I don't see how that is about making money for Wilson. They lost money making prototypes for Fed. And they didn't put the prototype on the market. It wasn't a Blade S.
I after the win he said he will be play testing more racquets..... it was most likely just making money.
Well, that didn't last long. Fed is back to his standard racquet at Cincy. My prediction is that he will never change again and that he will simply ride out his career with the 90" head.
I have doubt it is one of the Blades because it is not a box beam. Besides, Roger is known to stick to exactly 364 grams. Not a single one of his frames vary from this weight.
Well all i can say about the blade-S, is that its the perfect transitional racquet. If you had a Junior or Rec player thats looking to go to the next level of play but they are not ready for a 12oz players racquet and they need feel and not all out power.....the blade-S would be perfect. like taking an intermediate junior away from babolate Pure Drive and give him more spin and feel the blade-s, taking a your junior going into full size racquet, use the blade-S Etc...etc....etc.... I hit with it about a month ago..I liked it. not as spinny as the Steam 99s(which i own) but better feel when driving the ball.
