Comment by Tino on November 14, 2012 at 7:17pm pre open set the stage for todays game, the guy who wrote the article fails to realize that you cannot have a present without a past.
Comment by Tim Prapong on November 14, 2012 at 5:07pm I think the original poster makes some valid points here and there. I don't know if I totally agree either, Tino.

This thread is for you, agree or disagree with the original poster? "Pre-open era was a immature stage of tennis history"
Comment by Tim Prapong on November 12, 2012 at 12:18am Yes, his serve was that dominant. I thought the rule was to one serve, instead of two. Well, one can learn alot from his serve, even today.
Comment by Tino on November 11, 2012 at 5:32pm The oldest player to win a pro tournament, they actually had to change the rules of tennis in order to give other players a fair shot.. he could not serve and volly he had to let the ball bounce once before going to the net lol. What did he do? he started bombin from the baseline. They dropped that rule quick, Not even for fed have they had to change the actual rules of tennis.. GOAT
