Will Venus Williams hectic schedule affect her play at the upcoming grandslam?
Venus Williams has play alot of tennis lately and will head to Madison Square Garden for the Billie Jean Cup on monday. Will this hurt her chances of advancing into the 2nd week of roland garros? Me personally i think she needs to go into the french open fresh and ready to play. I hope she can avoid injury with her busy schedule of late. Meanwhile, her sister Serena has skipped the cup and two tournaments because of injury. What do you think about this situation?

Well Venus does have a rest coming as she and Serena will probably continue their boycott of Indian Wells. I think Venus will do well at Miami and the Family circle cup. I don't know the women's European claycourt schedule leading up into RG but if she wants to win the French I would recommend just getting her clay legs under her and not trying to go to far.

I think it can only help her, she definetly tends to be "not" match ready heading into big events. Coming up Miami & Family Circle

Wow! Venus is red hot after winning Mexico and the BJK Cup! I don't see Venus listed for the Family circle cup. If she plays Miami she may want to take a rest and forget about the green clay of South Carolina and concentrate on the European red stuff.
