new to St. Pete, ready to get back into tennis

Hi everyone,

Anybody interested in getting out and getting a few sets in? I just moved out here to the Treasure Island area. I'm a little out of practice currently, but I've played since I was a kid. Give me a chance to warm up and I'd probably be ranked around a 4.0. I'm free to play on weekends and in the evenings.

I still don't know the area too well, so if you have any suggestions on courts I could go play at I'd greatly appreciate it.

Also, if anybody knows where a good backboard is, I'd like to shake off the cobwebs on one. I'd really appreciate it if anybody can tell me where to find one. Thanks again!

Hi the best backboard that would probably be closest to you would be Maderia beach public courts , Close to Tom Stuart Causeway...The tennis courts are in bad shape but you will find one of the better backboards.......Also Azelea public courts behind Tyrone square mall has a descent backboard.
