I'm pretty much in the same boat, but down in St. Petersburg. It's hard to find someone who wants to go regularly. maybe we could find some courts easy for both of us to get to and get some practice…"
Saw your post about tennis friends and getting people together. Sounds awesome, I'd like to meet up with you guy sometime. Friend me and drop me a message so I can get involved. Thanks!
"There are different groups that gather at Jack Puryear Park 5701 Lee St. NE on Saturday mornings , just show up with your racquet and introduce yourself. It worked for me a couple years back. Hope this helps..
Are there any courts with a scheduled round-robin or meetup? They had these at the courts in my old town. Everybody could arrive at ~9am on a saturday and partner up with someone and play for the morning. Great way to meet other tennis players, especially for people new to town or without someone to regularly hit with. Do any of the courts around here do this? Preferrably public courts or private courts that don't break the bank?See More
Not sure if anybody in here is from the Bradenton area, I spend a lot of time in Bradenton and was wondering if anybody would be interested in hitting a little sometime? I'm open on weekends, and particularly this Thanksgiving...if anybody else wants to work off some turkey. I grew up playing and would rate myself ~ 3.0. I'm looking to get back into it after a little break. Let me know if you'd be interested. WillSee More
Hey, I'm a regular in the Bradenton area bc of family. Just looking to see if anybody would like to hit down that way...particularly around Thanksgiving? Work off a little turkey & gravy? I'm usually available on weekends and around the holidays. I grew up playing, so I'm a probably around a 3.0....a little rusty since I haven't had a regular partner since I moved to the gulf coast ~4-5 months ago. Let me know if you'd be interested. Random things about me (hobbies, occupation, tennis history, favorite band, etc.):
I grew up playing and I'm a very good tennis partner/opponent once I'm warmed up. I've had a break in playing for the last year or two because of graduate school, then working in a small town without much of a tennis community. I'm ready to get back into the swing of things here and I'm looking to meet some people near my age to get out to the courts frequently. I'm 28 and I'd rate myself as a 4.0-4.5 once I get back into my groove.

Need some help with this, just moved to town and I'm trying to find some good courts to practice at. Would like to meet a partner to hit with, and find a backboard to brush up on
