Roger once again has found his stride during the indoor season Defending his hometown crown in Basel and then winning his first Paris Masters 1000 title. Fed has become the first man since Agassi to win both the French Open and the Paris 1000 titles. Of course there are only two other active players that have won Roland Garros so that means Roger is still in a class by himself. There are 6 other active players that have won the Paris event so if Rafa ever releases the stranglehold on RG maybe someone can join Fed as active RG, Paris champs.

Fed pulled out of Halle but I still picked him to win the big W.

Hopefully our main man can win his tune up in Halle and take back his wimbledon title while wearing fancy threads!

As a father myself I do understand the new priorities of a family. Kids make it so easy to forget a bad day at the office. (and I work in the medical field!) Fed's job is still professional tennis player and I'm sure he still wants to perform at his best levels. I think only the most delusional fans believe that Fed has another run in him comparable to the glory years of 2004-2007. Federer still runs roughshod over the best 997 male tennis players on the planet and has beaten the only two ranked above him. I do think that he has a couple majors left in him.

Like a good father, RF has more important priority than tennis- his family, especially his two kids. I went thru this when I first have my kids.  I constantly wondered and worried about where the kids were and what they were doing, were they being well taken care of.........He had a brillant career more than any ever had. I still love watching him play. Graceful, efficient, beautiful strokes, its once in a lifetime that such a great player comes along and dazzled us all !

Now that the prelims are over our main man heads to RG with questions hanging over his head about his game. Can Roger, who routinely did the unbelievable now do the unthinkable and plow through two weeks of Grand Slam tennis and win the 2nd  major of the year?

HIS INTENT!!!!!!!!......he seems he dont want to play tennis anymore.

You can see the difference in  world tour finals 2010 and Australian open in 2011 and the rest of the tournaments in 011.

In the world tour finals i felt his intent in every point, every game, every set he played!!!!! he came up with a tremendous aggression,he crushed all of them with losing just one set!!

then he started to go back to his regular play in australia, like he fed up with winning titles.
