interestingly, i also live in st john's at the edge of pier park and would also like top start playing tennis again for fun. i was good in highschool, but that was 15 years ago. let's do it!!!! i am sooooo down.

I haven't started again - yet. 15 year hiatus. Just wanting to hit the ball & move - no scorekeeping. Very relaxed attitude.
Former hippy and current Wobbly. Thinking of joining the Rosicrucians.

I'd love to, I'm in N. Portland near the University of Portland. Week nights would probably work best for me or maybe on the weekend.

I haven't really played in a year and have only played on and off casually but I love tennis. I would love to meet up and play sometime. I live up in Vancouver but don't mind driving into Portland. I'll be out of town next weekend but could meet sometime after that. Let me know.

there's a group playing this morning at madison HS at 9 AM. my friends and i play every afternoon as well starting at 5. we'd love for you to come out and hit with us.
how are the courts out there anyway?

You play every day at Madison HS? Where is that? That would be great because my schedule changes so much. Can I just drop in sometime and is anyone playing at a fairly low, casual level? I have only played on and off and haven't played for a while!

If you're still looking for someone to play with I'd love to! I'd guess I'm about a 3.0 or maybe almost a 3.5, based on what this chart said. I'm laid back and just looking to have fun too. I live in St. Johns. Have not played in awhile but I could play Friday, Sat or Sun (24th,25th or 26th).

have you checked the ongoing mixers? you will need to travel if you want to be able to find hitting partners. don't expect them to come to you all the time. it's give and take. the mixers i form are centralized so everyone comes. a lot of players from your side of town show up as well just to meet others. come on out when the weather permits and bang the fuzzy yellow ball with them. check the court time page also
