German 4.0 to 4.5 player is looking for some challenging opponents from the 9th March till the 22nd ( Waikiki area)

Aloha Jenny ... If your nuts about tennis as I am ... You might want to come to play with some competitive players.  If you have a car or bus go to Hawaii Kai and check out The Oahu Club.  There is a great group of women players 4.0/4.5 players that play in the morning.  Great pros .. On Tuesday and Thursday there are free clinics (if you pay the guest fee to get in) in the morning.  We are all older than 27 ..we are middle aged women but very competitive.  So check it out!

eka thanks for the Information. Unfortunately I do not have a Car. But I want to check if any bus is goning to the Ohau Tennis Club. if so I certainly will Show up on Thursday. I might try a taxi if no bus is available.

Call up the Oahu Club and get information ... You will have to pay a guest fee to use the facilities .. but if you go on Thursday they have a cardio tennis class included in your entry fee .. starts at 9.30 for an hour... worth it there is usually 3 pros .. go to the higher level court.. you can figure that out.... If you are paying a guest fee you can stay all day .. there are two pools and gym bring your swim suit and work out clothes .. that way you get your monies worth.

There is also yoga and aerobic classes  you can do when you are there ... Also there are buses to Hawaii Kai from Waikiki... just get the informaton (oost $2 each way) but make sure you give yourself plenty of time...Some of the players are in Palm Springs this week to watch the Paribas..

The Oahu Club is on Hawaii Kai Drive in Hawaii Kai.... You will have to google for the number ...The Head Pro is Henry Sommerville and His Sister Betsy played in all the grand slams .. both are excellent pros.. if you want lessons... Also there is a young guy called Mike there ...League tennis is going on right now so weekends are packed with league play..Friday night 6.00pm is mixed doubles with pot luck (bring a dish to share) You don't need a partner to play mixed..Tues/ Wed/ Thurs cardio tennis .. Friday stroke of the day..

I think the cost to guest is $15 a day .. but call and check..If you like it on Thursday I could perhaps set up a doubles match for another time.

I did my Research. The bus takes a Long time about 1.5 h. And Taxi might be expensive. Hm. But say Eka :you would not want to play at Diamondhead or Ala Mona ? Because I really love to play. If you might consider to pay waikkiki or als Mona a visit then let me know and Mail me : Jenny-Stein@msn.com. I would very much enjoy hitting with you.

Well if you can stay the whole day by paying a guest fee I might consider it. Even if the Transit is not that easy.however if you would not mind playing in the Waikkiki Area let me know.

Eka if you want to play double that would be great. At what time ? On Thursday right? Well I guess I would come for the cardio lesson anyway. Yeas I reconsidered. I mean I am on vacation.

I might come out to Diamond Head sometime this week .. I will let you know.. I have a tennis doubles clinic on Tuesday in the morning at the Oahu Club... .I will keep you posted!

Hi at First thanks for the fast reply and friendly help. Thats very kind. Thanks a lot. Well if you do come to Diamondhead during the week let me know and I will be there. Oh double clinics are on Tuseday ! Thats a Pitt because I am goinig to the culture Center. Mixed on friday sounds pretty good. :)
