Dennis, where did you buy that 140 sq in racket? Do they have the extended version for 30 in length :-)

Yes Serge, that music is the best composition I've heard. It boost your adrenaline. BTW thanks for a well done job on my racket strings.

Ball bouncing on the court and a nice pop when the ball hits the racquet is music to my ears :)

Since I've listened to music 5 + hours daily for the past 25 years you'd think I'd be used to it by now.  Damn the Pixies!  Should have played some Ramones for that extra 160 beats-per-minute pep.

Must be the music ;)

After taking the winter months off, there's is nothing quite like coming back only to get a huge slap in the face from the tennis gods.  It seems I could not hit a good approach shot even if I had a 140 square inch stick.  Based on Friday's performance I should be sent to remedial tennis.  Who am I kidding.  Someone just take my stick and send me back into winter hibernation..

Well I find shoes that stop me in my tracks too quickly is surprising to me.  It feels too sudden a stop.  I like a little "play" in my traction.  As you can see from my avatar that is from 2 months of tennis.  The sole of a running shoes is soft and not made for the lateral movements and gets eaten up fast.  Sure are comfortable.  Well not that particular pair anymore.  But my real pairs of running / daily shoes are crazy comfortable.
