Anyone wants to hit in Medinah/ Thorndale Park tonight? Lights turn on @ 7:15, we got a pretty good lighting there (not yellow) with 4 courts. They don't normally filled up. The more we go the better so we can switch players after set.

Hmmmmmm, guess I need to buy some super-pressurized ball to use when it's 20 degrees out and we play at the Medinah Bowl......:)

I played at Medinah when there was still snow banks in the parking lot, had to jump over one of those to get in the courts. Also had to play with full sweats, I think it was back in February or March of this year, fun times :)

That's right Dennis they leave the net there all year round. Believe me, last year January I saw someone hitting there. Crazy isn't it? :-)

Hey Mike, I just called the Medinah Park District and they said the lights have a push button to activate the lights. It may be that even if a person pushes the button it won't activate until 7:15pm or later.

I did learn that they leave two tennis nets up YEAR ROUND! Anyone up for some December tennis? :)

Dennis, just an a heads up, lights in Medinah turns on at 7:15 so if you happen to be there at 7 just stick around we'll be there.

I'll be playing tomorrow night about 7pm at Medinah/Thorndale Park. It's on Thorndale Ave one block west of Medinah Road. It's on the north side of the street with 4 courts and lights
