I'll try to be there around 5:45. See you guys there

@Dennis glad to see I'm not the only one that likes to play in running shoes. I wear them out until there is practically nothing left. Mostly because I'm too lazy to go and buy another pair. My last pair is still going strong after 2 years, and it was an easy $30.

Anyone playing Biesterfield (Elk Grove) today?  I cannot believe it is so nice out there and I'm not out playing...

For retail Chicagoland, I'd have to go with Golfsmith and Sports Authority.  Golfsmith probably has the most number of models for specifically tennis.  I think SA has a larger selection than Dick's, and they will often put last year's model on sale for cheap to get rid of them.

Dennis, get a tube of SHOE GOO or buy an expensive pair of tennis shoes that offer a 6 month sole warranty.  I recommend a nice pair of ASICS gel resolutions. If you like playing in running shoes .... try a light pair of cross trainers about $50 and stop dragging your toes/feet. Good luck and happy shopping.

Golfsmith, Sports Authority, Dicks, Footlocker, Payless Shoes (lol)
