Everyone on the right side of this page has joined London Calling to meet players. Check out their profile pages and say "hi" to anyone that you fancy as a good match.

I also suggest to fill out as much info about yourself on your own profile and get a profile pic too. People like that - kills the anonymity. :-)

Hello,
I'm around King's Cross until December, and I want to play lots of tennis while I'm out here. Any good free courts around here? Do you have to book all of them? Contact me anytime if you want to hit!

You can search for open courts here: http://www.tennisforfree.com/home.php

And yes, WimbledonDH are very good - I had a great experience with them.

Sorry, you can click through to that link for booking tennis courts in the Hammersmith and Fulham area here: http://tinyurl.com/od9pop

Your best bet is just to stroll into some open air courts in the parks, though they're often booked - you can book through the local council for Ravenscourt Park here: http://www.lbhf.gov.uk/directory/leisure_and_culture/sports_clubs_and_centres/sports_pitches_and_courts/20532_tennis_bookings.asp
As for tickets, you'd better hurry up! Yes, Wimbledon Debenture Holders are very good - they're the cheapest, and they've been super efficient when I've used them. But why hang about?

So any places in London open to letting Americans visiting for Wimbledon might knock a few balls about? And as Londoners, any recommendations on the best places to buy one's tickets? I've heard good things about www.wimbledondebentureholders.com

Hi everyone... anybody from this group based in West London? Would like to expand my tennis network around these parts.

I play down at David Lloyd in Heston - which has indoor courts as well (although you need to be a member, I can bring in guests but it's quite hefty at £14 a visit, but nice if you want to play when the weather's prohibitive outside, or if you're just gagging for a game in the evening after work !)

Cheers

Ben
