so my boyfriend and i moved to dallas a few months ago and have tennis courts where we live (our apt complex). we definitely want to start playing and i think it would be good to play with some people who are in the same boat. Is there a regularly scheduled meeting place yet? I know from what Mark says that you're supposed to send someone who's at your level a message, but I don't know if two beginners=learning anything, thoughts?
Chelsea I may be in the same boat. I am in the process of moving to Dallas from Nashville with my girlfriend - we both have raquets and have hit around a few times. I know we would both like to get better, and have some fun while we are at it. Meeting cool people is icing on the cake! Looks like we will be staying in the Lovers Lane and 75 area. Is that close to where you have settled down?
That's a nice area Kunal, I live in Richardson, North 75 and Campbell, off the University of North Texas campus. They have courts there but I'm not sure if they are restricted to students only. Let me know if you find something in your area, I could come down and play.
Take care

My complex is the Lakes at the Village - I don't officially move in there until this weekend. They definitely have courts, but i'm not sure the deal (ie. free / charge / reserve etc etc.). 75 and Campbel can't be too far - did you say we could probably play at the UTD courts? Give me a call and let's set something up!

I actually moved to the Oak Cliff area, just south of downtown. There are some great public courts by me. I'd love to play, practice, and get execise. If your serious, drop my an email at kgulati1981@yahoo.com and we'll set something up!
