What was your longest singles match?

I had the pleasure of playing Tristan, an actor from England who I found on a tennis meetup website, "tennis-league.com". Little did I know we were in for a five setter that lasted five hours.

He won the first two sets, 6-4, 6-4 by outsteadying me. I then went onto get my serve rhythm and went serve and volleying and attacking all my returns. I won those 7-5, 6-3 if I remember correctly. My forehand was on fire!

But what I do remember was our fifth set tiebreaker, where I had three match points, but lost 16-14. And the big sweaty hug he gave me, because he played shirtless! He told me he was going to tell his buddies in England about the best match he ever played. We both couldn't walk the day afterwards!

So, we started at 11:00 and finished at 4:20. That's five hours and twenty minutes. Any Tennisopolis members with longer singles matches?
