Hey people,

It's obvious that it is summer and maybe more apparent than others depending on where you live. I'm in Austin and playing in the heat & humidity is GROSS. I've played in cooler climates like Maryland, I am from Las Vegas- dry heat, have live in Central Florida- humidity.

All the places I've lived I never thought about getting any cooling equipment until now. My leagues unfortunately play right at noon. I bought a cooling towel, generic Froggie towels and a cooling necktie too to try and keep me cool on the court. It worked pretty well I suppose.

What kinds of gadgets, equipment do you guys use and buy?

I heard about this wrist band that pretty much has built in ice cubes, funny..yes, but effective:?? How about this cooling skull cap? Any takers running out and buying it?

That skull cap looks interesting, but I need a bill  - I guess I could wear it under my bb hat.

Austin can be so humid and hot, but I just imagine that it is a big sauna and I am sweating out all the toxins.  In other words, I embrace the heat and think to myself that it is hurting the other guy more than me.  Mind over matter.  :-)
