LA Tennis Open
Anyone thinking about going to the LA Tennis Open at UCLA? My tennis tournament buddy moved to Chicago last fall and I'm looking for company for UCLA/ATP in a couple weeks and Carson/WTA later in the summer.

After taking a day off work the past two years to sit in the bleachers for a great day of tennis as well as attending the finals, I ultimately decided not to go this year. The only players I really wanted to see were Haas and Safin, so it just wasn't worth my time during the week and they were gone by the weekend. The current attendance of higher ranked players is truly appalling for a city like LA. It wasn't always that way. I hear it's the low prize money. Disappointing especially when in contrast, Carson's WTA tournament had much better top 20 representation.
I had a blast at Indian Wells last year. Perhaps, Mr. Mayor, you might consider organizing a Tennisopolis trip next year? Could be a great community builder.
