I haven't seen them except on stringforum and TW forum. Have you found them in a store or club?

There was a sidebar ad for them here so I checked out their website. Seems like they offer a good selection of strings at really good prices. I string my rackets with Gamma Zo Twist in the mains and Head FXP in the crosses. Costs me about $9 each time. Golden Set has a twisted poly called 'Snake Bite' with a synthetic gut called 'Maximal' that would cost me about $4 each stringing. If I can get the same performance and feel for half the cost I'm all for it.

Yeah, I saw that Snake Bite but it wasn't reviewed on stringforum.net.   It would be great if it were a comparable string to Signum Tornado.
I bought a poly sampler from them. I really liked the Hex Poly. I haven't really delved into the co-poly world. I have tried Lux BB Alu power in hybrids ( with Prince syn gut). I really like a full bed of hex poly 16L. I put Poly17L with TF E-Matrix 16 in my current racket ( only because I screwed up with cutting the poly too short.. I wanted a full bed). I can't really compare to the higher priced co-polys but for the price it's a good bargain!
So Hex Poly, eh? Well thanks for the heads up, MG. I'll have to try it.

supposedly it's comparable to Lux BB Alu Power Spin. I have never tried that Lux string so I wouldn't know the difference...but I do like the hex poly in my EXO3 Graphite MP's.....I switched over to a MG Radical Pro recently..I'm planning to string it up with Snake Bite soon..let you know how it goes...

they have an ebay store..I usually buy from there....

where do u play around in LA?

M.G., I play at Vermont Canyon, Burbank Tennis Center, Riverside/Los Feliz, Brace Canyon...
I haven't tried a full poly set up as of yet. What would be the pros/cons vs a hybrid with poly mains and syn gut/multi fil crosses?
You get more cut on the ball (spin) and a firmer response for flat passes but you lose some pocketing potential (drop shots, volley, rolling groundstrokes) and feel.

i agree with tim...might want to check this out on the golden set site pretty cool

Thats a great little graphic they have there! I'm going to order a sampler set and see how I like it.

First string up: Hex Poly mains, Maximal crosses, both at 58# Microgel Prestige Pro.

I've done about 3 hours of light/medium hitting and I have to say that I'm very impressed! The spin from the Hex Poly is awesome, and the comfort of the Maximal gives it a nice 'pocket-y' feel. Thumbs up!

I'll update in a few weeks to see how the strings are holding up.
