Be bold and make your picks a week early! Let's make it a little more interesting. Because it is so early, we can make a first pick, second pick and a third.
Here are my picks for the Australian Open: men's (Djokovic, Murray, Tsonga), women's (Stosur, Kvitova, Azarenka).
I know my picks are a little strange, even for me, but that is what my guts say. What does your guts say?

Permalink Reply by Tim Prapong on January 15, 2012 at 8:10pm Wow, you're picking Tomic! That's something else. Well, we'll see how the young lad fares.
I have been hearing different things as well about Serena. I'll need to look at the women's draw.
Permalink Reply by Tim Prapong on January 15, 2012 at 8:16pm I see Serena and Clijsters in the women's draw! I wonder if they are actually going to play by chance!
Permalink Reply by Sara Browne on January 15, 2012 at 8:07pm Men's-Djokovic, Tsonga, Murray.
Women's- Kvitova, Li/Stosur/Azarenka. I would like to write Kim Clijsters name in there but I was told she wont be participating due to an injury. I want to Kvitova to get to number one! She wins, performs under pressure and deserves it!
Permalink Reply by Tim Prapong on January 15, 2012 at 8:11pm After looking at the men's draw, Tsonga would likely have to beat Murray, Djokovic and Fed to win. Can he do it?
Permalink Reply by Sara Browne on January 16, 2012 at 1:21am Kim Clijsters is playing. She won her first match and is headed to the second round! Go Kim!
Permalink Reply by Tim Prapong on January 16, 2012 at 10:16am She's a good pick as always...
Permalink Reply by Meg O'Keefe on January 16, 2012 at 5:01pm I'm an Andy Roddick faithful and I'm convinced he'll win another slam before he's done. This one's as good as any!
Permalink Reply by Tim Prapong on January 16, 2012 at 11:12pm I love it! Finally, someone who will make a pick and stick by it. Well, I like Andy's serve alot!
Permalink Reply by Meg O'Keefe on January 16, 2012 at 11:22pm I like it all. Now he's just got to channel his inner 2003 and I think I'll be at the bar celebrating another slam for Andy. I hope he cries again. That was epic.
