Is this a sign of things to come this year.....or was it an abberation? Rafa has always had trouble in Madrid due to the altitude. Will he be able to right the ship, win Rome and go into Paris ready and able to defend his title? My feeling is that with the schedule change (Madrid and Rome trading times) that it will play into Rafa's favor. Rafa will come into the French on fire, ready to destroy anyone willing to enter the other side of the court. He knows how to win the French, the desire and effort it takes. I am beginning to think all of the tennis that Djoko is playing is going to catch up to him. He has played a lot, and is not in perfect form. I don't think he will do very well at Rome. Time will tell, but I think the run is about over for Djoko. What are your thoughts....?
Tip yes, but I don't think this is a changing of the "clay" guard. I think the higher elevation is just always going to favor Djoko when his mind is in it. Which at the moment it definitely is.
