I've been demo-ing a Crossbow 7 racquet and I really like it, but it's a bit pricey. It's retailing about $199. The best deal I've seen so far is about $159, but I wasn't familiar with those particular online retailers. Can anyone recommend a place where I can get a good deal on this racquet? If not, then can I get recommendations for a cheaper, but comparable racquet?

Thanks!

have a look at Prince's Speedport Gold, its fairly cheap at the moment. My wife has the crossbow 7 and I got it brand new on ebay for £30, I was very lucky. The Prince is a solid power racket and the speedports give a nice feeling off the stringbed, a bit similar to the Head technology but the Prince feels better IMO

Also the Dunlop 800 or 900 are good and you can often pick them up cheap on ebay
Thanks for the input, Richard! I will look into the Prince and Dunlop racquets you suggested.

Anyone know the difference between the Airflow 7 and the Airflow Crossbow 7? I saw the specs for these two and they are actually very similar, except that the Airflow 7 was only $80 vs. the Crossbow 7 at $199. Is there any real difference with the Crossbow technology?
They both very similar, it has something to do with the base of the head of the racket which moves on hitting the ball which reduces vibration, Id just go with the cheaper version and work on technique. Or get a heavier racket, these rackets are so light they are very unsteady off centre thats why their heads are huge, also they are very powerful so you dont have to do much to get the results ur after.
heaviest racket you can use + work on technique = better player
Just looking at the stats and the racket bridge technology there doesnt seem a lot in it. If you like the racket then Id go for the cheaper version.
My wife has actually got the airflow 5 crossbow and she has hardly ever hit the ball and she is improving all the time, the racket seems a good weight for her and headsize is about 110". Its seems a pretty solid racket so if you can pick up the 7 for $80 then Id deffo go with that....
I like that formula you posted. That actually makes a lot of sense!

Thanks for all of the input, Richard! I'm definitely a few steps closer now to purchasing my 'perfect' racquet!

Happy hitting!! :-)
