It is basically a pick ems game in which teams(message boards) compete against other teams. So Tennisopolis would compete as a team against other message boards, like MTF or british tennis and so on. If you guys are interested in competing as a team at this years AO maybe the site administrator can contact the British tennis site administrator(steven) and ask him to register us as a team so we can compete. If not the AO then maybe the next masters event or slam. Here is a link so that you can read up on it.
By the way if this post needs to be moved feel free to move it where it belongs :)
Well, steven should put up the draw this weekend after all the qualies have entered. When he does that there will be a link that says Austrialian Open Inter-board Challenge and you click on that link to enter, it will be the top link on the page I sent, you fill out your picks and team information then submit. So we probably won't sign up until saturday.
Ok, I just checked the site and the draw is up ,it's just that some of the qualifiers haven't been named. The qualifiers should be named this weekend. But if you want to enter without knowing who some of the qualifiers are, you can by clicking on the Australian Open Pick ems how to enter link. Deadline is by Sunday. By they way I saw our site name on the drop down list, it's official, that's so cool :)
When they ask for your name/nationality/team, write this TN in the team slot (this is the code for Tennisopolis), it will show up on all the leader boards.
Hey so did I. Hmm, we'll see about that. I thought it was just coincedence because I support Andy. He did lose a match at the Kooyong classic, but of course it is only an exhibition and he could've very well been sizing up his opponents.
We'll see. If the draw goes down like any of us predicted, it promises to be an exciting tournament.
