Event Description

No experience necessary. Any age welcome (we even had a kiddo play with us last week!). Men and women. We are "beginners". For now, we have been hitting the ball around, but if you are interested in matches/games (non-competitively, of course) we can accommodate. We may be playing singles or doubles, depending on the number of folks that attend & how many courts are available.

Bring your [or a borrowed] racquet and tennis balls. We each have one spare to loan. You might consider bringing a towel and/or drinking water!

At 7pm, Perry will offer 10-15 minutes of tips/lessons just before we play.

Westlake HS offers eight unlit courts that are open to the public and have Laykold playing surfaces.

DIRECTIONS FROM SOUTH: Travel North on 360, turn right onto Westbank...you will see several yellow pedestrian crossing signs on the right side of the street, turn right just before the last yellow ped sign into the parking lot. Tennis courts are on the other side of the parking lot to the far right.

Comment by 3L on July 29, 2008 at 2:23pm: Kerry, I haven't been in 3 weeks due to illnesses that came up. I will be there about 6:50pm and will wait between the 2 sets of walk up the sidewalk. Orange top, black skorts. =)
