I played tennis quite competitively in high-school and college, but got burned out from all the playing and took a break at around age 20. My rating when I stopped playing was somewhere near a 6.5.. However... it has been 20 years since that time, and I've only hit around a handful of times since then (none at all in the past 10 years), so I won't even venture a guess as to my rating now, but I can say without doubt that it's nowhere near a 6.5.
