This site is definitely not a place to find playing partners. I have had great luck at Craigs list with a simple one liner containing a description of my game and what I am exactly looking for.

Hi Tina,

I would be interested in getting together. Just came back from my 20 highschool reunion, reconnected with an old friend, and decided it was time to tennis again after 20 years. I would consider myself a true begginer.

Also, if anyone knows an intructor that offers reasonable rates, please let me know.
