What about materials? Is lighter better? I would consider myself to be or soon to be an aggressive player. What would be your suggestion?

Thanks Mario. Any info will help at this point. I'm going to pick out a new one tomorrow. I should have started years ago. Much appreciated!!

Light racquets (below 10oz) are usually for beginners that can't devellop power (the lighter the racquet the more you can generate speed which helps with the swing). But they also have the highets risk of developing arm problems and injuries. Get a balanced racquet (contro, racquet) with an average size frame (aka mid-plus). It'll take longer to get used to it but will be worth at the end.
