I'm 30 yo married woman who played competitvely in college (10yrs ago) at D3 level. Probably a 3/3.5 now. I live in Alexandria/Kingstown area but I'm willing to trade travel or find courts in between. I'm a teacher, so my schedule this summer is very flexible.
Hey,
I am pretty much free tomorrow after 3pm. Where do you usually play tennis? I usually go to OZ park in Lincoln Park and Recreation Driver by Irvin Park and Lake Shore Drive. I think the closest tennis court by you is the one by UIC. Grant park tennis courts sucked by the way.
here the link for Chicago Tennis Courts:

look for ones under "Chicago Mid",
Are you free this Sunday Morning?
If we decide to play at Dunbar Park, you can take the red line and get off at Sox-35th , it is 15 minutes walking distance from the court or I can pick you up at the train station,
I work till 5:00 pm every weekday in burbs, it is about 30 minutes from Downtown. So I can play every weekday at around 6:00 pm except Tuesdays and on Saturdays. The question is where do we play? there is a court near my place (I live in bridgeport) that usually has free courts, the address is: (it is called Dunbar Park)

Any other court is OK with me, I try to keep my tennis stuff in my car,
by the way my number is (312) 927-5966 , feel free to call me,
Hey, more an advanced beginner here...2.5? Work in Old Town near the courts on Fairfax and Montgomery and interested in hitting some after work weekdays. James

Hi! It's great to have you here! This is my *new* generic welcome message that, fortunately, is required due to the enormous growth. We're growing by 100 new members a day, and I just couldn't keep up. But that's a good thing. ;-)
Invite your friends too. We’re trying to reach 20,000 members by Wimbledon. :-)
If you need any help, let me know.

I have indoor tennis clinics just outside the beltway in Annandale for 3.5 players Sunday at 11 and Tuesday at 8 pm.
It is 28 if you want to come week to week or only $270 for all 13 weeks. I also have partial packages for people that can only do 7-10 clinics.

If you are looking to meet people for tennis matches, Look through the Groups or create a Group of your own and invite your tennis contacts. It's a good place to keep in touch with everyone in your circle.
Here’s a primer on how to meet other players.
The Forum is really the hub of the online community. Other places to explore: post youtube videos, add your own photos, write your own blog.
…and just hang out and meet great people.
Welcome aboard,
