It's genius, isn't it??!!! His backhand lessons are  totally eye-opening, especially the part about the backswing. When I started learning, I had no idea that you were supposed to bring your racket behind you so that it's almost parallel to the baseline. It feels weird, it's almost like having your back to the net. But, I've been looking at slo-mo videos of Fed and Henin's backhands and you can see that they too bring the racket back behind them so that if you're facing them from across the net you can actually see through their racket strings. I totally had not picked up on that before watching Avery's videos! Hope it helped!
