We also trained him to be sure to step forward and hit some balls, not resigning himself to slicing or squashing it back.

Watch as Player Z makes a better commitment to the shot, then extends his follow through, while making the point of contact more 'dramatic'. Look then for the subtle differences in his spins on serves.
