Hi Candice,

If you're still in the area, I'd love to get together and hit or play some sets. I've played tennis all my life and enjoy it a lot. Played in college on scholarship but have since moved to this area and had three kids. Trying to get back into the swing of things. Thanks! Julie

I am a 3.5 player interested in hitting. Also looking to form a network of players interested in playing ranging in time from morning to evening. I am a contractor and my schedule is always changing. Hard to find players with flexible schedules. I am focusing on improving my game.

If you are in the Tysons area, I am looking for a tennis partner. I am an ex collegiate player, male, now in my 40s though, and pretty decent still.

Hi Candice,

I recently joined this website and am looking for some players in the Fairfax/Falls Church area to play with. I recently picked up my raquets after a couple of years of not playing and am trying to get back to the level I was at.

I say i'm a 3.5-4.0 player and enjoy playing singles. I am usually available weekday afternoons and over the weekend. Hope to hear back from you soon.

Hi! Welcome to the "community-based" tennis social network which connects tennis players, fans, coaches, and you. We created this place in December and it has been a wild ride ever since - we've gone viral and now we're "almost famous".

What can you do here?
At Tennisopolis, you can:
- meet other players. Here's a primer on how to find partners.
- join a Group. Members have started over 190 Local Groups (and other types of Groups too.) Search for one in your area, or start your own.
- follow the pros. There are over 900 blog posts on Tennisopolis. Have a good read, or write your own.
- improve your game. Get tips in the Forum and check out video lessons.
- post your own Videos or embed your favorites from youtube.
- add your own Photos.
- and just hang out and connect with great people.

To get started, please upload a photo or avatar for yourself (if you haven’t already.) Whether it's of you, your dog, or your racquet it doesn't matter, but it helps people remember you. You can also personalize Your Page with pictures, links, RSS feeds, colors and more here.

Thanks to everyone inviting their friends, we now have over 14,200 members and we're growing by 90 new members a day. Invite yours too!

If you need any help, let me know.
