Coach, I like the idea of you taking questions on Chat to help players improve their game. I think we could schedule a time for it, like an hour, and promote it on the Forum and in the Beginner Group (and your own groups) and let everyone know when the hour is going to be. What do you think? If you like the idea, let's set a time in the evening and I will promote it.
For those of us going to Indian Wells, join this group to stay connected. This will help us organize a meet-up rally as well as some face-to-faces on the tennis grounds, so we can grab a margarita!

I've seen your name in Tennisopolis FOREVER, so I'm more than happy to accept your invitation. :) Btw, that signature in your book is probably Don Budge, American former World No. 1 ... but you probably already figured that out. Wish I could afford some lessons with you ... MY GAME NEEDS HELP! LOL John
No net play for the girls? I even like to come to the net with my 80 sq inch racquet. I take a short ball and force my opponent to come up with a passing shot. I'm surprised that a Usta hall of famer would say that. Most of them were all- court players back in the day.
I believe on formal instruction as I took lessons as a junior from a really good coach, Chris Crawford, A USTA hall of famer http://www.texas.usta.com/News/2003_10/44285_Texas_Tennis_Hall_of_Fame_Announces_Class_of_2003/ I paid my dues when i was a junior player.... When my friends were out partying, I was sneaking onto country club courts at night and playing tennis, all to get better.
