Hi Cliff! I live nearby 9Bellmore) and would love to get some regular tennis time in. Be forewarned that I'm a rookie, yet eager to learn and improve. I fairly confident that I can volley back and forth now, and will improve drastically as I play more and more. Let me know.
Hi Cliff,
Willing to travel to play singles for a couple of hours, free all day this week until saturday, and evenings and weekends after Aug 18th.

Hope those knuckles heal up soon. I'll be able to play after 6:30 or 7ishPM on MWF. Tuesday and Thursday in the morning up until noonish.
The problem with the evening time is, the permits won't make a difference because the offices will be closed....so sometimes we won't even be able to get courts.
My schedule is a little up and down now, jumping from new job to new job...can't pinpoint a time slot. When I settle down I'll be sure to send you a tell.
Hey Cliff, Please check out my comment on the Queens front page, as it's rather lengthy. I'm back & forth from Queens to L.I. like you, but now I'm mainly in Flushing near Kissena Park, which has courts. I was once a decent player, but will need to knock the rust ( and a few pounds) off. I might not be too challenging for you off the bat, but I just want to play & have some fun with it. My schedule is quite flexible, as I'm self-employed. I'd have see if a permit is needed for Kissena Park courts in Flushing. Perhaps we could meet to play there some time?
can you email me at chia108@hotmail.com , thanks

im new to NY, and dont' have a car, so it'd work best for me if you could hit in astoria park. But like most courts in NY, you need to get a permit or one-day pass to use the court. Let me know if you need permit info, thanks
hey thanks for the message.
i play in Astoria park. I usually play at 7pm during the week, and pretty much anytime works for me on the weekends.
Feel free to let me know when you're up for hitting!
Hey Cliff, thanks for the message. I play at Eisenhower sometimes too. I'll be free on August 9th and 10th so I'll drop you a line around then to see if you're free
Hi Cliff. There are fees to rent the court. They charge hourly. It's nice though since you get to play however long you pay for plus you get the whole court to yourself. I believe it's $18-25 an hour, depending on what time of day. It's cheaper if we split it in half. It'd be easier to chat on AIM or something. lol
