Hi Daphnane,
I am sorry I missed your message. I guess I was engrossed in enjoying the French open. I would play with you on the free courts. I am open mornings all week except Sundays, Sundays would be in the afternoon and fridays are a little more flexible. I dont work on fridays. So let me know.
I don't have a permit. Where would I get that. I wish I didn't have a day job, but I do for now...I might have a hard time with the AM weekdays. Are you avail on weekends early? I think we can work something out.
I think they are less busy on weekdays during business hours. I can play between 9 and noon, and we wouldn't need a reservation. I think any other time there we'd need reservations and that costs an extra 7$ (I'd rather play somewhere else than pay extra). We do both have to present our permits though---they're very strict about that.
I'm free tomorrow (Fri) morning. Are you? If not, how about next Tues, THur, or Fri in the mornign?
Hi Daphane,
Let me know when and where you'd like to play. I live close to Prospect Park in Flatbush, so those courts are easiest for me (and they're really nice--the mesh curtains between the courts are very helpful!), but I can bike to another court if you have somewhere else you like.
Let me know anytime--next week I start a pt job tues-thurs, but I'll still be free in the evenings on those days.
Sarah
Hi Daphane,
I just joined, looking for new tennis partners, and saw that we might be around the same level.
Get in touch if you'd like to play. My schedule is super flexible but I'd rather not play in the heat of the afternoon (or the heat of a heat wave!)

Hi Daphne there is one court that's free, right by the 3. You get off at Rutland and Sutter and one back about a block. You can view the court while on the train.
It's great to have you here! We need a Brooklyn Group -start 'er up. :-) M
