WTAtoday.com

Many of you know that I was covering both ATP and WTA tours at This Week in Tennis and then recently, I narrowed my focus to just the WTA tour via the WTA Today newsletter. The WTA Today newsletter has been such a nice success in a very short period of time that quite a few people don't even know about WTAtoday.com. This website is an archive of all the WTA Today newsletters and the new ITF Today newsletters I started pushing out a couple days ago. Seems like there isn't a need to go to WTAtoday.com if you subscribe to both newsletters, right? WRONG! Please read below for a quick guide for how to navigate WTAtoday.com.

Top of Page
The following links are at the top of WTAtoday.com: About, Calendar (WTA), Calendar (ITF), Contests, Subscribe (FREE), Twitter, and Contact.

  • About - Clicking the About link will redirect you to my About.me page that lists just about every thing I'm doing on the internet. It's like an online business card.
  • Calendar (WTA) - My embedded Google calendars offer a ton of information. The WTA calendar lists every WTA tournament starting in 2011 and birthdays of most of the top female players. After each tournament I update final results on the calendar. The best part of using a public Google calendar is that the calendars can be added to YOUR Google calendar if you have a Gmail/Google account. Let me know if you have problems adding the WTA or ITF calendar to your account.
  • Calendar (ITF) - Just like the WTA calendar, except that it lists ITF events. It's a work in progress right now because there are so many ITF tournaments.
  • Contests - Lists the current contests being run with the help of WTA Today sponsors.
  • Subscribe (FREE) - Subscription forms for both WTA and ITF Today are found here.
  • Twitter - COMING SOON. An embedded spreadsheet full of links to Twitter accounts will be placed here.
  • Contact - In case you want to email me. I attempt to reply to all emails within a few hours.
Left Side of Page
The content of each post and page is listed on left side of website.

Right Side of Page
The description of site and registration links are at top right side of website. Fans and Sponsors of the WTA Today are listed next and then the RSS feed. Finally, I think the way the Tags are listed will be useful for years to come. That's because I've listed numbers to the right of each tournament city and rankings tag. The numbers represent the year of the tournament or rankings post.

PLEASE let me know if you'd like to see additional information on the website. I'm always looking for ways to improve the viewing experience and want to come as close as possible to a one-stop shop.
