clay court singles league
The top 2 in each of the 2 groups will play in a 4 person draw. First place is $250.
To warm up for my first clay singles match (at ben combs house) I am hitting with mike smith at his house. They both have clay courts. Everyone has a clay court, where is mine?
Last week I beat my clay court doubles partner 6-1 6-2 6-4. I think with a good clay hit tomorrow I will be good to roll. I am playing andy parker sunday. He is a walking forhand and will do anything to not hit a backhand. How do you get it to his backhand? By hitting it to his forehand!

I expect we will finally get to. Finish this league this weekend. I have a hit on clay friday to warmup. Wish me luck!

1 more singles win 6-0 6-0 this time on clay. 4 people left and I am the #1 seed. They told me not to expect an invite next year so I better win the $250 this year

I played 2 matches thursday. I won 4 sets, lost 6 games total, and no bagels. They sort of told me not to expect an invite back into the league next year. I better make this year count!

Practice went really well today. It is raining now and if it rains all night it might puddle up and make the clay unplayable. I am going to assume I am rained out and watch the ausie final =)
