Hi Tennis Fans,

It's time for some dirtballin'!
If you are into following the pros, come play this bracket challenge game with us. You pick the winners of all the French Open matches to the final, before the first point is ever played. Each correct pick gets you points. The person with the most points wins. Wins what? *bragging rights*.

Here's an interesting twist: Everyone that plays the challenge here is on the Tennisopolis Team which is up against some other tennis websites and message boards. We're calling it the Battle-Of-The-Boards.

The French Open brackets are now ready! Go ahead and make your picks now, right here: http://www.britishtennis.net/pickem/pickemef%20rg.htm?n=1 All draws are due by Sunday, 5am Eastern (so essentially Sat. night.). Why risk forgetting? Make your picks now.

Let me or ThePoet know if you need any assistance. When signing up, they'll ask for your name/nationality/team. In the team slot, write Tennisopolis.com - this will show up on the leader board, so for instance my name will be Mark/USA/Tennisopolis.

C'mon people, let's kick some butt!

Mark, I don't feel sorry that Rafa has to play the 3rd seed....but I feel sorry that he has to play such an awesome 3rd seed. Djok is unbelievable, young, and is only getting better. There are 3 dominant male players in the game today...Fed should feel very fortunate that he usually only has to play one of them....and a warn down, beat up, one of them to boot.

I keep writing comments, no workie.
I sent in my bracket today, it said it sent, but I'm not sure if I missed the deadline or not?

Mary, Sorry you missed the deadline - it alway sneaks up on everyone. But definitely come to the Forum to talk about the F.O. as the weeks go on!
Steve, I hear you man! But as far as feeling sorry for Rafa for having to play Nole - not so much. He's the number 2 player in the world - in my book he should have to play the number 3 seed in the semis of all tournaments. No doubt he is the best on clay, I just wonder if he has all these matches in him one more time.

Rafa is anything but inconsistant...especially on clay. In fact, outside of Federer, he's the most consistant player in tennis....and THE most consistent player EVER on clay (which the French Open happens to be played on). I'm looking for Rafa to continue his consistent beating of Federer on clay here at the French Open. It's ashame for Rafa that he always has to have a grueling and tiring match against Djokovic before playing Fed. It takes a lot out of him...but he's the best there ever was on clay so even being tired and worn down, he will probably beat Fed for the 3 French finals sweep.

I am going with Federer. It goes against current form, but I believe this is going to be his year to win the FO.

Nadal is my pick. He's the clay court master for the past, what....3 years?
