Green Valley High School Youth Tennis Clinic and Tournament 2008

All youth between the ages of 4 and 12 are invited to attend a Youth Tennis clinic and tournament. On April 25, 2008, starting at 3:00 P.M. and ending at 6:00 P.M., lessons will be given to the participants by the GVHS Women’s Tennis Team and coaching staff. Lessons will be given in very small groups depending on the child’s ability and background knowledge. Lesson will include rules/scoring of a match, drills on forehand, backhand, lobbing, serving, foot work and volleying. All drills and coaching will be presented in a fun and constructive manner. On Saturday April 26, 2008, starting at 8:00 A.M. lessons will continue, and a tournament among the players in your child’s ability level will continue until 11:00 A.M.. Water, snacks and a participation t-shirt will be provided. The cost of the two day clinic will be $25.00. All money will benefit the GVHS Women’s Tennis Team.
