Bracket Pick 'em Challenge - Australian Open

Hi Tennis Fans,

If you are into following the pros, come play this bracket challenge game with us. You pick the winners of all the Aussie Open matches to the final, before the first point is ever played. Each correct pick gets you points. The person with the most points wins. Wins what? *bragging rights*.

Here's an interesting twist: Everyone that plays the challenge here is on the Tennisopolis Team which is up against some other tennis websites and message boards. We're calling it the Battle-Of-The-Boards.

The Aussie Open starts Sunday Night (for us), so our picks have to be in by then. Actually, why don't you go ahead and make your picks now? Here's the link:

Let me know if you need any assistance. When signing up, they'll ask for your name/nationality/team. In the team slot, write - this will show up on the leader board.

I think we can keep the discussion right here in this blog post. C'mon people, let's kick some butt!

Great! Thanks a lot Poet and Mark. I was worried about it all day at work, and I don't have internet there.

Serena just went off, I hope I get to see some ATP tonight!

Awesome. thanks, I emailed Steven too, so he probably has heard enough from us. :-) I got my dad to do it too. So we have:
The Poet
Jan K
Mark B
Bill B
at least.

Woo hoo! Good luck everyone! I can't wait for day one, not for the pick 'em, but just for the tennis.

I went over to the british site and talked with Steven and Bethan. It's all straightened out now, we have 6 players registered.

Hey this is really odd. Darn it, I put my name (BlueShirt) instead of the website. But I did chose our site from the drop down list. Hmm, hopefully Steve will understand that we're all from the same team. Do you guys think we need to send him an e-mail about this??

Anyway, I forgave dear family member. Nalbandian isn't looking good after all, and I originally had him going far.

Hey mark yeah I'm signed up so that's pretty wierd. I'm signed up under ThePoet, I picked our team name from the drop down list so I'm not sure what's going on.

Who is Kuda? Poet is that your name there? I just got a note from Steven that we only had two people registered from Tennisopolis. Mark and Kuda. Looks like Nan signed up after I received the email from him. Blue have you signed up? And Jan, have you singed up?
I'm gonna send some private messages... we need to sign up right away. ouch, M

Oh I'm sorry, I had actually submitted my bracket before you posted this. I picked our team name from the drop down list, I didn't get chance to write in our name :(

Poet (and Blue), since you probably haven't filled out your form yet. In the field where it says name/nationality/team, please write out for the team name. This will show up on the leader board and be a *good* thing for us.
