What I did right : Relaxed during my serve Played my opponent backhand, which was his weak side Anticipated and moved to the net when i saw my opponant was in trouble Returned down the line on the even side Moving to the net: Move in straight line (no zig zag) "Split" when my opponent was about to hit the ball. What I did not do right: i tried to play it safe first when i had a huge lead (5-2), than when i felt the momentum changing. What I learn is if you are winning, don't changing anything that made you win in he first place. Identified a target Volley and overhead; a few times, i should have go for a volley instead of a smash.. After the serve, i need to get in a ready position faster. Warm up: The first started when the two of us did not hold serv. I need to go earlier and warm up before the game. Overall I think that my concentration was better at the beginning where i was putting the ball with more accuracy.

This is a great use for the blog. It's like a tennis diary and you can keep track of your improvements.
